LILLIAN O`SULLIVAN- 2009 CANBERRA DARTER OF THE YEAR

Netball ACT hosted the 2009 Presentation Evening on Friday 18th September at the Yowani Country Club.
The Presentation Evening took place to present awards to our elite athletes from State representatives to Canberra Darters.
Lillian O`Sullivan took out the prestigious 2009 Canberra Darters Player of the Year award and was inducted into the Canberra Darters Hall of Fame. Lillian joins some very famous players who have won this award in the past and are also in the Darters Hall of Fame. The award is presented to the player who polls the highest number of MVP votes in the Netball Australia MVP awards. The awards are voted on by the opposition coaches. The award encompassed the following competitions - 2009-2008 New Idea Australian Netball League and 2003-2007 Commonwealth Bank Trophy Australian Netball League.
